Aedlo Terms and Conditions

1. About Aedlo

Aedlo is a digital garden planning and visualization tool operated by OÜ Vuntsid ja Kõrvad (reg. nr. 16025947), based in Estonia.

Aedlo allows users to:

Create and edit garden layouts
Add plants and design elements
View visual representations of garden plans
Estimate indicative project costs

Aedlo is intended as a planning and visualization aid only, not as professional advice.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aedlo, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

3. Use Without an Account

You may use Aedlo without creating an account.

In this case:

Your data (garden designs) is stored locally on your device
Aedlo does not store or back up this data
You are solely responsible for preserving your work

We are not responsible for any loss of locally stored data.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may create an account.

When creating an account:

You must provide accurate information
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
You are responsible for all activity under your account

Aedlo stores:

Email address
Password (securely hashed)
Garden design data (JSON format)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of any garden designs you create.

However, by using Aedlo, you grant us a limited license to:

Store your data
Process it to provide the service

We do not claim ownership of your designs.

You are responsible for:

The accuracy of your designs
Any decisions made based on them

6. Nature of the Service (Critical Limitation)

Aedlo is a visual and conceptual planning tool only.

It does not provide:

Landscaping advice
Horticultural guarantees
Engineering or construction guidance
Accurate cost estimation

7. Plant Data & Accuracy Disclaimer

Plant data within Aedlo:

Is manually compiled from publicly available sources (e.g. nursery websites, general references)
Is approximate and indicative only

We do not guarantee:

Plant size, growth, or shape
Suitability for specific soil, climate, or conditions
Seasonal appearance accuracy

Actual results depend on:

Soil conditions
Light exposure
Climate
Maintenance practices

Users must independently verify all plant-related decisions.

8. Budget & Cost Estimates

Any pricing or cost calculations in Aedlo:

Are indicative only
May not reflect real market prices
Must not be relied upon for financial decisions

You must obtain official quotes from suppliers before making purchases.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Aedlo is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We are not liable for:

Any loss resulting from reliance on garden plans
Plant failure, incorrect placement, or poor growth outcomes
Financial loss due to inaccurate estimates
Loss of data (including locally stored designs)
Any indirect or consequential damages

Your use of Aedlo is entirely at your own risk.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for unlawful purposes
Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the system
Interfere with other users
Abuse or overload the infrastructure

11. Future Features

Aedlo may introduce:

Paid subscriptions
Sharing and collaboration features
File uploads (e.g. base maps, images)

Additional terms may apply to these features when introduced.

12. Service Availability

We do not guarantee:

Continuous availability
Error-free operation
Data permanence

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to:

Suspend or terminate access
Remove content
Restrict usage

If users violate these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.

Any disputes shall be resolved in Estonian courts.
